Who we are

We treat every driveway like it is our own.

Our grandfather started R. Youtz Asphalt Maintenance in the 1960s. Today we are the third generation, and the business has stayed family owned the entire way. We serve Dauphin, Lancaster, and Lebanon counties in Pennsylvania with sealcoating, crack repair, patching, and line striping for driveways, parking lots, and private roads.

One of the worst things you can do to a driveway is overseal it. Applying sealer too often can shorten the life of your pavement and lead to a full replacement years sooner than necessary. We will always be upfront with you. If your driveway can safely wait another season, we will say so and help you plan work when it truly needs to be done and when it will actually benefit the surface.

Every lot and driveway is different. The right fix depends on how the pavement was built, how it is used, and what the weather has already done to it — not a one-size-fits-all package.

How we work

Prep Before Product

Clean surfaces, routed cracks, and solid adhesion matter as much as the sealcoat or patch itself. We do not skip the unglamorous steps that keep repairs from peeling off next season.

Straight Answers

We tell you what needs work now and what can wait. No pressure to replace pavement that still has life left — just a clear plan and a fair estimate you can compare.

Built for Traffic & Weather

Pennsylvania freeze-thaw cycles, sun, oil, and daily wear are part of the job. Every mix, repair, and application is chosen so your surface holds up through the seasons ahead.

Same standard you see in our gallery: show up on time, protect what is around the work zone, and leave pavement that looks right and holds up season after season.
